Firefly ZS

MDN
The Firefly series is the latest project of the Wroclaw studio MIXD. The name refers to "glowing" insects - fireflies that add charm to July nights. Lamps in this series not only resemble the shape of magic skylights - they have a very elegant aluminum body, finished with a delicate glass shade - but like them, they offer unique, moody light. Lamps from the Firefly series are available in the form of a wall mounted, standing lamp and hanging lamp.
Firefly ZS is basic and complementary lighting, which is perfect for places such as clubs, galleries, hotels, as well as offices and homes.

Firefly luminaires were made of two blocks - a cylinder and a ball. Asymmetrical displacement of one of these solids relative to the symmetry axis of the composition makes the lamps have a surprising and unusual form. It is a slight disturbance of symmetry - so characteristic of the MIXD "twist" studio - that makes the whole series extremely interesting and provokes the creation of unusual arrangements - individually and in groups.

The Firefly ZS model is distinguished by:

• built-in efficient LED source, and in Sunlike technology they offer light that transfers the sun's energy to the interior. The full spectrum of sunlight allows for faithful reproduction of colors, and thus improves mood and concentration. Sunlike technology is in line with the "Human Centric Lighting" trend, which emphasizes the important role of light in interior design and its impact on our health. An additional advantage of Sunlike LEDs is that when dimming the luminaire color dynamics is maintained.

• dimming in the TRIAC system

• the ability to create any composition or use individually

• the possibility of choosing a suspended luminaire dedicated to the Ready for Snap system with a 3-meter cable (ZS marking) or suspended with a cable length of 1.5m with a ceiling base (Z marking).
